A new gaming device promises to make it possible to use PlayStation 3 controllers with Xbox 360 consoles, and vice versa. The great thing about having more than one gaming platform out there is the choice that it affords. If you prefer Microsoft’s Xbox 360, then you can buy one. Like the Sony option of the PS3? Then that’s the device you go for.
This is the solution I’ve been waiting for a way to use my PS3 controller on an XBOX. This is actually the only reason I do not own an XBox now is because I’m so used to my PS3 controller and would not want to give it up. You can even dust off your old Wii to integrate its motion based controller with an Xbox or PS3. That should be fun playing those FPS games with a motion controller. The only problem is where the hell do I buy one. Well hopefully it will be available soon as I will just pick it up just to have. I wonder if this same type of technology will work when they release the next gen in game consoles primarily the PS4 or Orbis and the XBox 720.
